Heating the house with a pellet boiler
The building that we needed to heat is a two-story house in Bologna district.
The owner wanted to replace the pre-existing old biomass system with a state-of-the-art pellet boiler so that he could take advantage of the Italian government subsidy and increase the efficiency of his heating system.
The customer chose to buy a BluCalor pellet boiler because he was tired of the continuous blockages, the high pellet consumption and the ordinary maintenance required by his old system: his request was therefore to have a state-of-the-art boiler, with features that would combine the advantages of biomass and fossil fuel systems.
Free inspection and counseling at home
The heating plant is located in a particularly narrow space: the client had been forced to renounce a large tank to install the old boiler and its connections to the solar panel system.
After thoroughly inspecting the heating plant, we drew a layout to adapt the boiler and its service tank to the available space.
Thanks to our separate movable tank and the availability of augers in different lengths, it was easy to offer the customer a solution to meet all his needs.

The solar version of our pellet boiler was equipped with a 270kg tank with a long screw to avoid compromises: the installation was completed within the day and we preserved the pre-existing plumbing connections, perfectly adapting the new system to the boiler room thanks to the versatility of the product and the study of a specific positioning draft.
We installed an empowerment kit with a plate heat exchanger to increase the rapidity and delivery temperature of domestic hot water. In this way, the customer can finally take advantage of the service bathrooms as well, without suffering from hot water insufficiency problems.
The Blucalor E pellet boiler has an internal 160-liter reserve of technical water, which can provide instant hot water without the need for external hot water storage and without a pilot flame.
The burner, in fact, modulates the power according to the actual hot water demand and then shuts off completely once it has been met: this detail was particularly appreciated by the customer, accustomed to his old biomass system always on.
We also installed a silenced compressor, which is perfect for maximum acoustic comfort without sacrificing the automatic cleaning system of the Blucalor E pellet boiler.
As a result of these improvements, operating costs and required maintenance are greatly decreased.
The customer was able to replace the old biomass system and carry out the work while benefiting from the "Conto Termico" subsidy: to be eligible for it, we also installed thermostatic valves in each radiator and added a wireless thermostat for quick and easy control.

The pellet boiler Blucalor E has an incentive coefficient of 1.5: in this case, the customer ended up saving over € 7,000!
